Integrations

Integrations help bring alerts from Dead Man's Snitch into the systems and services your team uses.

Filtering Alerts

Whether it's routing to different escalation policies with PagerDuty or alerting the correct team's Slack channel, filtering lets you control which Snitches alert which integrations.

Adding Filters

Integrations by default receive alerts for all Snitches on a Case. Adding a filter limits the Snitches that send alerts to that integration by only alerting for Snitches that share a tag.

1. Click on Integrations from the navigation bar
2. Click on the filter icon () next to the Integration you want to add filters to.
3. Add any tags you want to the list. The integration will receive alerts for Snitches that are also tagged with any of the tags in this list.
4. Click on the Save button
5. That's it! The Integration will only receive alerts for the matching tags.

Removing Filters

Let's say you no longer want an integration to receive alerts for a specific tag. You can do this by removing the tag from the list of filtered tags. To send alerts for all Snitches to the integration, remove all tags from the list.

1. Click on Integrations from the navigation bar.
2. Click on the filter icon () next to the Integration you want to modify.
3. Click the x next to the tag to remove it. Remove all of the tags in the list to have the Integration alerted for all Snitches.
4. Click on the Save button
